Urea II & III (1400 MTPD)
The process licensor for the Urea Production unit is Stamicarbon. The production capacity of the unit is (700 X 2) 1400 Metric Tons Per Day (MTPD). Commissioned in 1973 with the Process Technology of Stripping/Crystallisation and Prilling. The unit was then modernized in 2003 with the same capacity using the Process Technology of Stripping/Evaporation and Granulation, and the Pneumatic Control system was replaced with DCS. The major equipment utilized in the unit includes Urea Reactors, Urea Strippers, Carbamate condensers, CO2 compressors (Nuovo Pignone) and all related equipment, including Vessels, drums, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.
